Leveraging Dubai’s hub location and ambition to become the world’s most sustainable city, Middle East Electricity is building on previous years’ conference content and seminar streams and is proud to launch the region’s first Global Smart Energy Summit, taking place 6-8 March, 2018 at Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE.
In line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Global Smart Energy Summit will support the UAE Vision 2021, to make the UAE one of the most sustainable countries in the world and the Dubai Plan 2021 which will propel Dubai to be among the world’s smartest and most energy efficient cities.
The Summit programme will take a deep dive into technology as it is the critical link between energy services, access and affordability. Disruptive trends and new technologies are the driving force behind innovative initiatives that are helping governments manage demand, diversify energy sources and secure their energy supplies.
The Global Smart Energy Summit is a truly global event that will unite and facilitate discussions among government energy sector leaders, regulators, utility companies, contractors, consultants and energy end-users for three days of dialogue, thought leadership and networking with smart energy pioneers from across the world.
