Adey Steel Group Celebrates New Project Wins

Leading UK steel fabrication Company, Adey Steel Group has recently been awarded contracts to provide steelwork packages for Metro bank in Wimbledon and New Papworth Hospital in Cambridgeshire.

The two separate contracts are the latest in recent works won by Adey Steel with each project having unique challenges.

The steelwork package at Metro Bank in Wimbledon involves the re-development of a pre-existing building adding to it with a steel frame and secondary architectural steelwork. The scheme will provide Metro Bank with a further brand new banking facility building on their ever expanding portfolio in and around London.

The works at New Papworth Hospital began in April, 2016 and is part of the exciting new development on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The project will further progress Papworth as a leading light in the treatment of heart and lung conditions providing 310 beds and seven state of the art operating theatres. Adey steel are providing the structural steelwork package for the hospital’s new energy centre as well as plant screen support steelwork to other areas of the site.
