Kuehne+Nagel is transforming its global contract logistics operations by rolling out a cloud-native, agentic artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled warehouse management platform across more than 1,000 sites, strengthening scalability, operational efficiency and supply chain resilience.
Cloud-native platform modernises global warehouse operations
Kuehne+Nagel has begun deploying the next generation of its KN SwiftLOG warehouse management system across its global Contract Logistics network, evolving the platform into a cloud-native solution with agentic AI capabilities.
The rollout spans more than 1,000 sites in close to 100 countries, making it one of the largest warehouse management transformations undertaken in the logistics sector.
Built on Blue Yonder’s Warehouse Management Solution, part of its Cognitive Solutions portfolio, the platform provides a unified cloud-based environment while retaining KN SwiftLOG as Kuehne+Nagel’s core warehouse management system.

Global rollout supports supply chain scalability
The phased global deployment began in April 2026 and is designed to ensure continuity of service while enabling Kuehne+Nagel to scale operations and respond to increasing supply chain complexity.
“Evolving KN SwiftLOG into a cloud-native platform allows us to connect operations, data, and workflows more effectively across locations. As supply chains become more complex, improving efficiency remains a key driver for adopting cloud-based solutions,” said Eduardo Razuck, Executive Vice President, Contract Logistics, Kuehne+Nagel.
“This shift supports consistent execution at scale and helps us respond more quickly to customer requirements, while maintaining reliable service delivery.”

Agentic AI enhances visibility and operational efficiency
The upgraded platform combines warehouse operations with data-driven insights and intelligent automation to improve planning, increase operational visibility and enable faster responses to supply chain disruptions.
The platform will help drive more efficient resource utilisation while providing a foundation for coordinated operations across its global warehouse network.
For customers operating across multiple countries, the cloud-based platform will support more standardised processes and consistent execution across locations. The first customer deployment is scheduled to go live in Asia during July 2026.
Partnership with Blue Yonder accelerates digital transformation
Kuehne+Nagel said the transformation has been enabled through its partnership with Blue Yonder, whose warehouse management technology underpins the new platform.
“Together, Kuehne+Nagel and its customers will benefit from AI-enabled execution and next-generation operating practices that increase productivity, speed and agility,” said Duncan Angove, Chief Executive Officer, Blue Yonder.
“The future of supply chain belongs to those who can standardise globally, decide faster, and adapt at the speed of disruption.”

Technology investment prepares logistics networks for future growth
Kuehne+Nagel said the move to a single cloud-based warehouse management platform is designed to support long-term growth by improving operational consistency, strengthening resilience and enabling faster adoption of AI-driven capabilities across its Contract Logistics network.
The deployment forms part of the company’s wider digital transformation strategy as it continues to enhance warehouse operations, improve customer service and help businesses manage increasingly complex global supply chains.
