2nd Russian Energy Forum to Attract More Than 100 Attendees in London

On 9 June, 2015 Eurasian Dynamics will be hosting the second edition of the Russian Energy Forum in London with a special focus on finance and investment.

Following a successful conference in June 2014, the second edition comprises of four sessions, networking breaks and an evening gala reception.

Attendees will engage in panel debates, special focus roundtables and will enjoy companies’ presentations on what matters the most for international energy businesses in Russia, in the current climate.

Main topics of discussion include

  • Russian energy relations following one year under sanctions
  • Financing in the current climate, with insights on mid and long-term possibilities and risks
  • Updates on Russia-China energy relations and the dynamics around Russian gas into Europe and the Turkish stream

With the presence of more than 100 experts, energy and finance companies, professional services firms and distinguished government and VIP guests, the event has made itself a senior level forum and a unique opportunity to meet – in person – the leaders moving forward the Russian energy sector.

Professor, Keun-Wook Paik, Senior Research Fellow for the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, commented that the first edition “attracted senior decision makers in energy and finance industries and offered a unique opportunity to broaden the horizon. The core discussion on EU-Russia-China energy relations reflected the highest priority of the ongoing negotiations between the parties to secure further deals that can have colossal impact on the whole Eurasian region’s energy security and flows”.
